I am no longer able to connect to USAA via Quicken 2015 for Mac. I was able to connect until this morning. Quicken is saying that it is hitting a temporary landing page. When I retry, I am not given the option to enter the answer to the security question that I am sure is on that landing page, and thus Quicken cannot connect to my accounts. First, why would the temporary landing page start appearing all of a sudden? And second, how do I force Quicken to ask me for the proper information to help it get past that page?
My comment is for the Windows version of Quicken (See below, I think the problem is independent of platform) I started having the same problem about 3 weeks ago. The accounts that are setup and have worked for years still work. I was attempting to add a new account, and now I cannot connect and get the list of my accounts that USAA services. I spent about an hour on the phone with tech support (USAA), they watched my connection log and say everything looks fine.
Dec 20, 2018 - Quicken For Mac 2019 saw incremental improvements that have made it. But we like the direction it's going, and if you can get a great deal on pricing. Version after using Quicken for Windows for years – last version 2015. If I download Quicken 2015 for Mac from the Mac App Store, is there a way to apply the discount(s) sent to me by email?

However, I do not get my account list. I did some more trouble shooting on my own, and cannot get it to work.
I even started a new quicken file from scratch, no accounts, and it would not do a DirectConnect with USAA. Of note, over the past two weeks a number of people are reporting the same problem on the Quicken community site. As typical, most are frustrated with the lack of help from Quicken. Reminiscent of the Therac-25 customer trouble reports, it looks like Quicken and USAA are not talking to each other properly.
This will be compounded significantly in a few weeks when Quicken releases the 2016 update. I hope someone in IT at Quicken or USAA gets ahead of the problem.
